Electronic Arts went street with five skateboarding events: the freestyle half-pipe, the high jump, the downhill race, the pool joust against Lester, all launched from Rodney's skate shop with its properly punk attitude. The half-pipe was the heart of it, chaining hand plants and aerials until the run fell apart.

Rob Hubbard's title tune is one of the all-time great SID openings, guitar feel and everything. This was a mates game in the best Epyx tradition, pass the joystick, beat the score, argue about the judging. By then my TAC-2 could take the punishment ;)
