The UK Aliens game from Electric Dreams put you in charge of six crew members at once, each seen through their own helmet camera view of Hadley's Hope. You flick between Ripley, Hicks and the others, guiding them corridor by corridor while the motion tracker blips get closer and your nerve goes.

I bought this one on cassette as an original, and it earned it: few games on the C64 were this tense. Losing a crew member you had kept alive for an hour felt genuinely awful, and hearing the tracker speed up in a dead-end corridor still ranks among my best C64 memories. Atmosphere over graphics, every time.
