Epyx set the standard for multi-event sports games with this one. The opening ceremony alone was worth the load time: the torch, the anthem, the doves flying off. Then came pole vault, diving, gymnastics, the relays, each event with its own rhythm to learn rather than just a button to hammer.
This was a game you never played alone. Everyone picked a country, everyone had their best event, and the diving scores caused more arguments than any referee ever could. Summer afternoons went into this thing and never came back ;)
