Sensible Software's masterpiece starts with the worst-controlling object on the C64, a wizard trapped in a bouncing ball, and turns mastering it into the whole point. Collect the right droplets and the ball grows thrusters, then proper control, then a cat named Catellite orbiting you and catching paint.

Because that is the goal: the world has been drained grey and you and the cat are painting it back, level by level, colour by colour. Strange, beautiful and completely original, with a Martin Galway title tune people still cover today. Zzap!64 rated it about as high as they rated anything, and they were right.
